Our lawyers Tina Mihalič and Martin Pirkovič participated in the conference “Mobility of employees between Slovenia, Austria, Croatia, and Italy” taking place on 20 June at the Gorizia site of University of Trieste (Università degli Studi di Trieste) in Italy.
The event has, in the form of an expert debate, presented the conditions and requirements for foreign companies to operate in Italy, Slovenia, Austria and Croatia. In the pleasant atmosphere of the university, the lecturers presented topical issues such as transnational posting of workers social security and tax management of cross-border workers, as well as a Comparison of tax incentive systems in the forementioned countries.
After an introductory presentation of the topic by WI LEGAL, which organised the event, Tina and Martin presented the above-mentioned aspects for foreign companies to do business in Slovenia and Austria in a panel discussion.
The conference is part of the European Capital of Culture 2025 Nova Gorica – Gorizia programme, which this year offers more than 400 events in various fields.
