At PFP Law, we were delighted to welcome law students who visited us as part of ELSA’s Career Week, titled Step into the Legal Profession.
This event provides students with valuable insight into the work of Slovenian law firms. Lawyers share firsthand experiences of the profession’s daily challenges, the key skills every successful lawyer needs, and practical advice for taking the first steps into the legal profession. We are also happy to answer students’ questions and provide guidance based on our experience.
We started the event with a warm welcome and a reception, followed by an introduction to our firm and an overview of a lawyer’s work—enriched with a few interesting anecdotes from legal practice. We also addressed students’ questions about the qualities we look for in candidates, the criteria for career advancement, how we balance work and personal life, and other relevant topics.
A big thank you to ELSA Ljubljana for the excellent initiative and organization, and to all participants for joining us! We look forward to future meetings.
